This form is challenging and, indeed, hard to publish. Still, as I have usually worked full-time, I could better manage the length and commitment such a piece takes. My stories are not so much autobiographical, as much as the result of so much that I have learned from the lives of those around me. I often confront issues that have faced those of my generation and those of my ancestors.
